CONSERVATION OPPORTUNITY TUES 4th OCTOBER
Following on from the very successful Beach Clean-up we have been asked if we can find 10 volunteers to work with two of the Flintshire Countryside wardens on the sand dunes at Talacre. The conservation task involves pulling out some invasive species particularly clematis. These plants were introduced many years ago when residents of the warren kept gardens.
All equipment and instruction will be provided by the wardens and if weather conditions are suitable a fire will be lit to burn them off. This promises to be an interesting experience and if you would like to get involved e-mail Marie firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 01352 752844.
Volunteers will be contacted with further information.
