Groups (1) and (2).

An artist, an art movement
or a specific subject is the topic at each of these meetings.
Instructive and enlightening, the range of subjects is inexhaustible
from early art to the present day. Twice a year the Group visit art
galleries.

CARD
MAKING
This is a new Group
providing a useful and enjoyable craft. Some materials are provided at
each meeting although members also bring their own. The Group aims to
share various skills and techniques amongst its members thus adding to
their knowledge of card making. Beginners are welcome.

Contemporary Flower arranging
Flower arranging with a modern twist, using floral
accessories as well as flowers and foliage to create containers and
arrangements suitable for the home.

PATCHWORK
AND QUILTING
Our two quilting groups have combined and are now
meeting at New Brighton Community Centre.
The cost will be £1.00 a
session, paying 6 months at a time, to cover hire of the hall. This new
meeting place will enable us to widen our programme of activities and
accommodate more members.

OUTDOOR SKETCHING
For anyone interested in informal
outdoor sketching. All abilities welcome – the only criterion is that
you enjoy the great outdoors! We meet at Loggerheads Country Park. Bring
your drawing materials and also it might be helpful to bring a camera
and a seat.
