This new meeting place will enable us to widen our programme of activities and accommodate more members.

So if you are a stitcher or a beginner and would like to join us - do get in touch with

You will be most welcome.

PROPOSAL FOR NEW GROUP

Is there anyone interested in forming a

Classical Music Historic Performances Listening Group?

What I am thinking of is playing complete works in a hall which has good acoustics.

I have myself a number of historic recordings of classical works:

Bach, Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Liszt, Tchaikovsky, Mussorgsky, Mahler, Bruckner, Richard Strauss, Prokofiev, Vaughan Williams, Holst, Sibelius, Shostakovich, etc. - doubtless other folk have such recordings, too.

Bethel Chapel in Holywell has very good acoustics & would be available.

Anyone interested may ring me, John, at 01352 715873.
