EASY SOCIAL WALKING GROUP

Meets at Somerfields’ CP in Mold.  The Group walks for about 1.5 to 2 hours by canals, in country parks, along coastal promenades etc. with an optional pub lunch afterwards.  Suitable shoes and waterproof clothes are necessary.

FLORA AND FAUNA

Meets at Somerfields’ CP in Mold.  Walks are at a leisurely pace and vary between 3 and 4 hours.  Some recent walks have been to Ellesmere, Plas Newydd and Alyn Waters Country Park.

WALKING GROUP (1)

Length of walks average 5 miles.  Variable terrain and some gradients will be encountered.  Enjoy a pub lunch in good company at conclusion of the walk.  Members take turns to lead walks. Click here or the latest programme.

WALKING GROUP (2)

Walks are 4 to 5 miles in wonderful local countryside – Clwydian Hills, Sandstone Trail, Erddig, The Wirral - have all been walked at a steady pace.  We finish at a welcoming hostelry for lunch. Click here for the latest programme.

WALKING GROUP (3)

All walks will be within 10 mile radius of Mold, 4 or 5 miles long, lasting between 2 and 3 hours and moderately difficult.  We will stop half way for refreshment. Contact Jane around mid day on the Sunday for information of the day's walk (depending on time of year and the weather)

WALKING GROUP (4)

Walks will be up to 5 miles in the Mold/Ruthin area. Lunch will generally be arranged but a picnic may be needed on some occasions. To set the group off we will lead the first few walks, but it is hoped that members will contribute walks following that.
