Open Meetings, the AGM and other FU3A events will now take place in Connah’s Quay Civic Hall. The facilities mean that we have to serve your beverages in paper cups. If you wish to bring your own reusable cup/mug from home please do so. This will help to reduce the impact on the environment.
The ‘Words, Music and Song’ The ‘Words, Music and Song’ group is about learning, playing and performing music.
We have recently purchased some African percussion equipment - thanks to funding from the Coop - which we put on show at the September Open meeting.
It includes African dun-duns, djembes and cowbells plus an Irish bodhran and a concertina and is already in use by the group.
So, if you'd like to try African drumming, or play along with us, please get in touch with John on firstname.lastname@example.org, 01352 720860 or 07917 461407.
